GOI Mulls to Export Sugar more than previously exported quantities. GOI is considering to export 1 million tons of sugar by Sep 30 this year. Considering the request from the Indian Sugar Mills Association, Aditya Jhunjhunwala, India will be left with enough quantities to satisfy domestic demand even after additional exports.

Plain Gold and Jewellery Increased by 62% and 59%, "Plain Gold being the direct beneficiary of CEPA" Gold and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEP) said.

 Wheat Exporters Will Finally Be Happy Now. Wheat Exporters ban imposed on may 14 is finally lifted but wheat exports shall be recommended by Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) this shall come into effect on 12/07/2022. During the Period of 06/07 - 12/07, Wheat flour loading on the ship commenced before the notification period and wheat handed over to the customs department and registered in their system shall be exported without any regulations.

Commerce Ministry is expecting (Foreign Trade Policy) FTP of the five years before September, it is to include “Districts as Export Hubs” to boost Indian exports and create new job opportunities. There are 750 districts in the country initial target is to focus on 50 districts, it is a competition to get into this 50 district list, 60% are centrally sponsored 40% are state-sponsored.
