The Negative Trade with UAE turned Fruitful with CEPA’s Pact.
After the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) which came to be on May 1, India’s export to UAE grew by 16.22% to 837.14million from 720.31million from the previous year. Exports Included textiles, Agriculture, Dry Fruits, Gem’s and Jewellery are getting duty-free access to the UAE market. Plain Gold and Jewellery Increased by 62% and 59%, "Plain Gold being the direct beneficiary of CEPA" Gold and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEP) said.
